The Great Belonging Project: Day 28

“The five senses help us notice and respond to the world around us. They form a bridge between the external and internal, providing connection points that enable us to remember who we were, recognize who we are, and dream about who we want to become. Our senses help us belong to our various selves held together by the past, present, and future.” - The Great Belonging: How Loneliness Leads Us to Each Other

My Quick Belonging Checkup is an Examen for Belonging that you can tweak to use most days or most weeks to check in with your loneliness and various belongings.

For The Great Belonging Project: Day 28, establish an Examen for Belonging using the questions provided or a few of your own.

Return to these questions most mornings or evenings or weekly—whichever you prefer.

Noticing your loneliness and belongings is a wonderful step toward finding your way to greater connection to yourself, others, God, and the world.
