The Great Belonging Project: Day 16

“After three days, I begin to do what I know I’m supposed to do. I make a list of every commitment and task I’ve been putting off and determine what I can graciously say no to. I email people who are waiting on a response from me, apologize for the delay, and tell them I’m not feeling well and will be in touch soon. I consider how I might be able to increase my margins. I let my clients know I can’t take on any new projects for a few months. I hope they will understand.” - The Great Belonging: How Loneliness Leads Us to Each Other

Taking a pause is a revolutionary act.

This world can rush us past our truth.

For The Great Belonging Project: Day 16 I invite you to pause and take some time to check in with yourself in ways that will help you experience a broader sense of belonging.

Pause. Slow down. Cancel plans. Miss a deadline.

See what happens next.
