Free Belonging through Art Event with Blue Spiral 1 in Asheville

Friday, October 6th, 4-6pm ET | Blue Spiral 1
38 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
FREE and open to the public / Lower Level Gallery / No RSVP Required

In conjunction with their current exhibition ”Bill Killebrew + Ellie Richards,” Blue Spiral 1 is hosting a guided exercise in being present with art. After a brief introduction of Bill Killebrew's paintings, participants are invited to immerse themselves in a contemplative session of observing the art around them. A questionnaire will be provided to supplement this time of silent of reflection. Afterwards, participants will gather to share what they have discovered. The guided activity will be led by Charlotte Donlon.

Malaprops Bookstore will also be at the event with copies of Charlotte’s book, The Great Belonging: How Loneliness Leads Us to Each Other, available for purchase.
